What Do You Want From Your Life???
Want to make changes or enhance your life? Where do you start?
It is important to establish goals. If you don’t know what you want, how will you ever get it? You need to define what it is you really want before you can find a way to get it. Some people struggle with this, so a good place to start is to take a look at how balanced your life currently is and where the gaps or areas for improvement are.
Below is a list of 12 areas (if some don’t apply just leave them out as it won’t affect the results). Write a number between 0 and 10 next to each of the sections. 0 being desperately unhappy/stressed, couldn’t get any worse and 10 being extremely happy, couldn’t get any better. Don’t think too much about it, just go with your first response. The exercise should only take a few minutes to complete.

The aim isn’t necessarily to get scores of all 10s, the high score of the numbers don’t matter so much. The balance of the numbers is far more important and if you have huge differences – for instance, some scores are very high and some very low – you will be able to see clearly where any imbalances lie in your life and the areas that need to be addressed as a priority.
If all your numbers are around the same, then you have balance in your life and your goal will be to maintain that balance or look to improve all areas.
Once you have a list of the areas you wish to improve or maintain
you can begin the goal setting process to look at the ways you can
achieve these goals.
